School Fees

Fees for Academic Year 2013/14

Fees are payable in four instalments; an initial deposit followed by three termly instalments.

For New Parents:  An initial deposit of 30% of the annual tuition fees must be made within seven days of receiving an offer of a place.  This deposit is non refundable.  Should there be a change in circumstances which necessitates a withdrawal once the deposit has been paid, any PDCs/fee payments submitted will be returned in accordance with the Withdrawal Policy. Failure to make initial payment at the time of acceptance of place will result in the offer of a place being withdrawn for the forthcoming academic year.


For Current Parents:  A deposit of 10% of the annual tuition fees is due at the time of re-registration.   This deposit is non refundable.  Should there be a change in circumstances which necessitates a withdrawal once the deposit has been paid, any PDCs submitted will be returned in accordance with the Withdrawal Policy.  Failure to make initial payment at the time of re-registration will result in the child’s place being withdrawn for the forthcoming academic year.

Remaining Payment
If payment is made by cheque, parents are requested to remit three cheques at the time of acceptance of place or re-registration.  Payments are divided into three installments of 40%, 30% and 30%, less the initial deposit.

Autumn Term Cheque :   40% of Tuition fees plus Boarding fees (if applicable) – cheque dated 4th September 2013.

Spring Term Cheque :     30% Tuition fees plus Boarding fees (if applicable) – cheque dated 6th January 2014.

Summer Term Cheque :  30% Tuition fees plus Boarding fees (if applicable) – cheque dated 21st April 2014.

An early settlement rebate of 5% will be applied to the tuition fees only if the full year tuition fees are paid at the time of re-registration (with a current dated cheque or a post-dated cheque dated 31st March 2013).

In the case of new admissions, a rebate of 5% is applicable if the tuition fees are paid in full within one week of the date of the offer.

A non-refundable Registration Fee of AED 500 is payable at the time of registration.

A non-refundable Assessment Fee of AED 1,000 is payable at the time of assessment.

A refundable deposit of AED 50,000 is payable on acceptance of a boarding place.  This deposit is fully refundable once the pupil leaves, assuming that all outstanding balances have been cleared.

Repton School has applied to the relevant authorities for permission to increase fees for the academic year 2013-14.  Should permission be granted, new invoices reflecting the permitted increase will be issued as soon as notification has been received.

Boarding normally begins in Yaer 7, however, If there is sufficient interest we will begin boarding in Year 6. Please inquire for details with the Director of Admissions.

Please note that boarding fees include day tuition fees.

Payment for New Joiners in Spring or Summer Term

Fees for Repton are calculated on an annual basis.  For parents who join at the start of the academic year, or for parents at re-registration, fees are divided into four payments: the deposit and three payments in the form of post dated cheques dated for the beginning of each term.

For pupils starting at the beginning of the Spring or Summer term, the deposit amount will be 30% of the fees due for the remainder of the academic year at time of joining.    This deposit amount will be non refundable 15 days after the acceptance of place. The remaining fees will be divided into two payments: an initial immediate payment and one payment in the form of a post dated cheque dated for the beginning of the Summer term (cheque dated 21st April 2014). 

For parents who join at the start of the Summer term, fees are charged at 30% of the total annual fees and the fees are collected in one initial immediate payment.

School Lunches

Payment for school lunches is required in advance for the entire school year with three post dated cheques.  Should you wish to discontinue, your cheques for the remaining term(s) will be returned.  We regret that we cannot refund any money for part of a term. 

Should you wish for your child to have school lunches, you will need to visit the Registrar’s Office and complete a request form.  Once payment has been received, you will be given an ID card for your child which indicates that lunches have been booked. 

Should you wish to withdraw your child from taking lunches, you will visit the Registrar’s Office to complete a withdrawal request.  Please bring your child’s ID card with you.  You will be issued with a  new ID card immediately and you will be able to collect your refund (if applicable) after five working days.
