Tradition, Competition, and Camaraderie
We operate a traditional British House system, with the names and colours aligned with Repton UK. There are eight Houses, all a mixture of boys and girls. The eighth, Jumeirah House is unique to Dubai. Our new students are divided between the Houses early in the Autumn Term. They are; Brook, Dahl, Foremarke, Jumeirah, Latham, New, Orchard and School. Additionally, Fry House, for boys and Field House for girls cater for our boarders.
Upon joining Repton Dubai, each student is assigned to a House, with siblings placed in the same House to promote unity and support. Each House is led by a dedicated Head of House who provides guidance, support, and mentorship, aiming to lead their House to victory in competitions, events, and overall points. Students have the opportunity to serve as House Captains, leading their respective Houses and representing them in various school activities.
Throughout the academic year, students engage in friendly House competitions in sports, arts, music, drama, academic quizzes, and debates. Students can earn points for their House by demonstrating our school values, with points tallied regularly. The House with the highest points is celebrated and honoured. The House Cup is awarded annually for the highest overall performance.
